    Yesterday I met with some friends. We went to the palace gardens and we took loads and loads of pictures. I love how greenish and ‘film’ these ones look. What could be better than spending time with our friends taking pictures? Honestly, I could do this everyday for the rest of my life, what a perfect time…

    My new  wireless remote

    A few weeks ago I got my first remote for Canon EOS 1100D. I bought it from ‘estores’ on Ebay. The seller is from Hong Kong so it might take a while to come but it’s worthwhile. I’ve paid for it 17,83 €/£14.99 and the shipping was free. This beautiful remote has single, continuous, bulb and delay shooting - the best thing for self-portraits. This a good choice for a 1100D since it doesn’t have an infrared option. (Also works with  Canon EOS 550D. 500D, 450D, 600D and 60D) The package came with 4 AAA batteries, the remote is ready to use! In another little package comes the shutter release cable and you have to make sure that you connect the camera and the receiver with it.     “Symbols” 

    As you know on Saturday I went to the AXA’s Building. I not only took pictures but I also shot this little film. I’m really sad because I haven’t found the artist of these pieces but when I saw this I just have thought “ I need to catch up this moment” and recording was the best way to do it. I’ve called it “SYMBOLS” and I’ve been trying to find what they mean.I don’t own any of these pieces of art, I ONLY OWN THE FOOTAGE RIGHTS.

    The “new” AXA

    Today I went to the “new” AXA’s Building in Oporto and I’m quite happy because they said that we could take pictures and these are the results. The light there is kinda perfect and the space is really good (it looks like it’s falling though, they need to work a little bit more on those walls). AXA is now a place where you can find conceptual art and new talents. I went to a Flea Market too but it was crowded of people and the pictures I took there aren’t that good. This is kinda different of what I usually post but I hope you like it. Yesterday I finally uploaded my first picture to Flickr (you can check out my photo stream by clicking here) and today I’ve upload another self portrait you should check it out.

    Hello everyone , I really missed this. I didn’t have memory of the last time that I shot some pictures. This made me feel good. I’ve been really tired because of school and its like it hasn’t started yet. So, I decided my bedroom could be the perfect place for today. At the moment this is the place where I feel better in my house; I can see the sunset from here and that makes me feel really calm. So I invite you to listen to this song, it inspired me for this shot.

    Two weeks ago I received my remote shutter, I’ll talk about it later in a different post as soon as I can.

    Hiya! Welcome to my very first video post. The video above is from the photo shoot ’smother’ with my friend Sofia. I shot this in December 2012 during my first week of Christmas holiday. I think this clip looks really great, but honestly I don’t feel comfortable shooting video; I really want to to practice more on filming tho. The music is ‘Smother’ by Daughter, her music is so beautiful and it fits perfectly here!

    This is my favourite picture from the photo shoot with Sofia. It is so calm and pure but strong and emotional at the same time and her facial expression looks so intense.

    Hello everyone, as you probably know I’m in Lisbon now on holiday. My friend Marcia is blogger at ‘Alexa Chung’s Closet’ and I’ve always said that I would love to take some shots for her blog; so we did it. The photo shoot  was at LX Factory - Lisbon and if you like fashion and lifestyle you should definitely check out her blog.  I truly loved the final results and Márcia is a lovely person to working with, I would really enjoy to shoot a few more looks for her blog.
